We understand that sometimes you might need to return an item after winning it at auction. At XS Online Auctions, we have a fair return policy that considers the unique nature of our auction business. Please take a moment to review this policy before bringing an item back for return.
What to Know Before You Return
- Not a Retail Store: Unlike a retail store, XS Online Auctions cannot accept returns on all items. We have specific conditions outlined in this policy to ensure a smooth return process.
- Review Listings Carefully: It's important to carefully review item descriptions and photos before bidding. This will help avoid returns due to discrepancies between your expectations and the actual item.
- Inspect During Pickup: We highly recommend thoroughly inspecting any items you pick up at our facility. This is your chance to identify any issues before the return window closes.
We are happy to offer returns on most auction items, with some exceptions. Here's a breakdown of our policy:

Eligible Items: You can return most items within 14 calendar days of the auction date, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging and condition.
- Return Authorization: A completed and approved return authorization form is required.
- Manager Approval: All returns require manager approval.

Items Not Eligible for Return:
- "As-Is" or "Final Sale" Items: Items listed "as-is," "final sale," or clearly indicated as clearance items cannot be returned.
- Missing Minor Parts: We do not accept returns for missing minor components, such as generic screws, nuts, manuals, or bonus content, unless they were explicitly mentioned in the listing description.
- Buyer's Remorse: If you simply changed your mind or don't like the color of an item, you cannot return it.
- Open Consumables/Perishables: We cannot accept returns on opened consumables or perishable items. Warranties may apply to unopened, factory-sealed perishables.
- Apparel: Due to hygiene concerns, we cannot accept returns on used or tried-on clothing, shoes, or undergarments.
- Damaged After Pickup: We cannot accept returns for items that are damaged after pickup due to customer assembly or improper handling. This includes discarding the original packaging during pickup. Accepted Return Reasons
We will accept returns and offer a full replacement or refund (if a replacement isn't available) for items in the following situations:
- Major Discrepancy: The item has major damage or missing parts that were not described or photographed in the listing.
- Manufacturer Defect: The item has a manufacturer defect that was not mentioned in the listing description.
- Misrepresentation: The item was listed as the incorrect model or product.
- Manufacturer Recall: The item has been recalled by the manufacturer.
